Bon Tacos: a new Instagram look and 47 pieces of content for a French tacos launch

Bon Tacos opened in Wrocław in September 2026 with an Instagram profile made of phone clips and one-off graphics. We planned a new look and produced 47 pieces of content for it: 20 animated videos, five carousels, graphic posts, pinned covers and a full set of highlight covers.

Where they started

Bon Tacos serves French tacos, a grilled tortilla filled with meat, fries and cheese sauce, from a spot in the underground passage at plac Dominikański 3 in Wrocław. It opened on 16 September 2026.

Its Instagram had 32 posts: phone videos, opening announcements and one-off graphics, each in a different style. Nothing on the profile explained what a French tacos is, where to find the place or when it’s open, and a first-time visitor couldn’t tell the brand from the grid.

Before and after

Left: the profile when we started. Right: the same grid once the plan is posted (scheduled to finish on 23 October 2026).

What we did

A look people recognise

Red and yellow from the restaurant’s own fit-out, the Climate Crisis headline font from its website, and the grill marks from the tortilla as a pattern. Three pinned posts form one panorama across the top of the grid.

Why it works: when every post looks like Bon Tacos, people recognise it in the feed before they read a word.

Answers before questions

Three pinned carousels answer what a newcomer wonders: CO? (what is a French tacos), KTO? (who makes it) and GDZIE? (where to find it, underground). Two more explain how to eat one and what else is on the menu.

Why it works: a new food concept needs explaining, and pinned carousels are the first thing a profile visitor sees.

Animation instead of stock photos

Twenty short animated videos: three ads, three 2D spots, a 3D tacos, two five-episode series (Bon Jour for lunch, Bon Soir for late nights), and three voiceover stories. Nine highlight covers sort the stories into tacos, fries, location, hours, promos, the two series, reviews and the team.

Why it works: Reels are the format Instagram shows to people who don’t follow you yet, and a series gives followers a reason to come back.

How we’ll measure it

For a walk-in restaurant, likes aren’t the goal; new guests are. Now that the content is in place, we track what shows people coming through the door:

We’ll add those numbers here once the plan has run.

What the work included

  • Content plan and calendar
  • Animated ads and a 3D spot
  • Bon Jour and Bon Soir series
  • Carousels and graphic posts
  • Pinned row and highlight covers
