Services · Allegro Marketing

Allegro marketing for sellers who want the whole channel.

Allegro is its own search engine, with its own index, its own ranking inputs and its own relationship with the buyer. Getting found there is a separate craft from ranking on Google. We are based in Wroclaw and we treat it as one.

Our Allegro strategy

  1. 01

    Read the category

We look at how buyers in your category actually search and filter, and at what the offers currently winning that space have in common.

  2. 02

    Fix the offer first

Titles, parameters, category and delivery terms get sorted before any budget goes into ads, because paid traffic magnifies whatever the listing already does.

  3. 03

    Price against the shelf

Your price is read next to every competing offer on the same screen, so we position it deliberately rather than importing it from your own store.

  4. 04

    Keep a channel you own

Allegro rents you the customer. We run it alongside your own site and organic search so a rule change never takes your whole pipeline with it.

Allegro marketing is the practice of winning placement and sales inside Allegro’s own search and browse system. It covers how an offer is titled, which parameters are filled in, which category it sits in, what delivery terms it carries, how its price reads against the offers beside it, and how paid campaigns are structured through Allegro Ads. None of that is governed by organic SEO rules, because none of it happens on Google.

A closed search engine with its own logic

Most sellers arrive on Allegro carrying habits from Google. The habits that matter there are largely irrelevant here, and the ones that matter here have no equivalent on Google at all.

You cannot crawl the index

There is no site to audit and no backlink profile to build. Everything the engine knows about your product comes from fields you fill in inside your seller account, which makes data hygiene the whole job.

Inputs Google never asks about

Delivery time, return terms, seller rating and the price of the offer sitting directly beneath yours all feed placement here. Allegro does not publish the weighting it applies to them, so we work the inputs and measure the result.

The buyer belongs to the platform

You get the order. Allegro keeps the account, the email address and the next visit. That is a fair trade for the reach it gives you, provided you go in knowing what you are trading.

Allegro against your own store

These two channels answer different questions, and the honest recommendation is almost always to run both. Here is what each one actually gives you.

Selling on Allegro Your own store
Who owns the customer Allegro holds the account and the contact details You hold the data and can market to it again
Cost structure Platform fees per sale, plus optional ad spend Build and hosting up front, then traffic cost
Speed to first sale Fast, because the buyers are already there Slower, because demand has to be earned or bought
Control over branding Bounded by the platform template and rules Yours, down to the checkout copy
Risk concentration A rule or fee change lands on your whole revenue Exposure sits with search and ad platforms instead
Best used for Volume, reach and testing new product lines Margin, repeat purchase and the brand you keep

Read that table as an argument for pairing rather than choosing. Allegro gets you in front of buyers who are already shopping. Your own site, built properly with web design and development and fed by organic search and PPC, is where margin and repeat custom live. Sellers who run only one of the two find out the hard way which risk they took.

Who this is for

Allegro work pays back fastest where there is real search demand in the category and enough margin to survive the platform fees.

Manufacturers and brand owners

You control the product data and the pricing, which is the strongest possible starting position on a marketplace. Usually the problem is that resellers have listed your products badly and now compete with you on your own name.

Distributors with deep catalogues

Hundreds or thousands of offers, most of them created once and never revisited. Parameter and category work applied across a catalogue at that scale tends to move more revenue than any individual listing rewrite could.

Sellers who have plateaued

Sales were climbing, then flattened, and the reflex is to raise the ad budget. More often the offers themselves have stopped being competitive on delivery or price, and paid spend is covering for it at increasing cost.

Brands testing a new line

Allegro is an unusually cheap way to find out whether a product has demand before you commit a warehouse to it. The buyers are already searching, so you learn from real purchase behaviour within weeks.

How our Allegro process works

Six steps, run in this order for a reason. Spend comes last, because every zloty of it is worth more once the offer underneath is right.

  1. 1

    Account and offer audit

We go through the seller account, the current offers and the categories you sit in, then record where you place today for the searches that matter. That baseline is what every later change gets measured against.

  2. 2

    Search and category mapping

We work out how buyers in your category phrase things, including the shorthand and misspellings that never appear in a keyword tool, and check that each offer sits in the category buyers actually browse.

  3. 3

    Titles and parameters

Offer titles rebuilt so the important attributes appear where both the engine and a scanning buyer will read them, and every parameter field completed so your offers survive the filters shoppers apply.

  4. 4

    Delivery, returns and Smart! eligibility

We check your delivery methods and handling times against the conditions Allegro publishes for Smart!, then fix what stops offers qualifying. Buyers filter for it, so this is a visibility question as much as a service one.

  5. 5

    Allegro Ads structure

Campaigns built around product groups and margin rather than one budget spread flat across the catalogue, so the offers that can carry the fee are the ones getting the impressions.

  6. 6

    Monitoring and review

Competitor pricing, seller rating, offer placement and campaign performance reviewed on a fixed cycle. Marketplaces move quickly, and an offer that was competitive in March may not be by June.

Questions we get asked about Allegro

What is Allegro marketing?

Allegro marketing is the work of getting offers found and bought inside Allegro’s own search and browse system. It covers offer titles, parameters, category choice, delivery terms, price positioning and paid campaigns run through Allegro Ads, none of which Google controls.

Does our Google SEO work carry over to Allegro?

Some of the thinking carries over, the mechanics do not. Allegro runs a closed index with its own inputs, so parameters, delivery terms, seller rating and price all matter in ways they never do on Google. Keyword research transfers. Technical organic SEO and link building do not.

How does Allegro decide which offer ranks first?

Allegro does not publish the weighting behind its results, and anyone quoting you exact factor percentages is guessing. What the platform does document is the kind of inputs it considers, including offer relevance, price against comparable listings, delivery terms and seller quality. We work those inputs.

Should Allegro be our only sales channel?

We would advise against it. Allegro owns the buyer relationship, sets the fee structure and can change its rules on its own timetable. It is strong for reach and volume. Pairing it with your own store keeps one channel you control outright.

What is Smart! and does eligibility matter for us?

Smart! is Allegro’s programme that gives qualifying buyers free delivery and free returns on eligible offers. Sellers meet published conditions on delivery method, price and handling to have offers included. Buyers can filter for it, so eligibility changes how often your offer is seen.

Do we still need Allegro Ads if the offers rank organically?

Not always, and we prefer to fix the offer first. Paid placement amplifies whatever the listing already does, so a weak title or a thin parameter set simply costs more per sale. Once an offer converts, paid campaigns become a volume lever.

Find out what your offers are missing.

Send us your seller account name and we will review a sample of your live offers against the categories you compete in, then tell you what we would change first and why.
